From ACCESS to Success: An Orientation for New Students and their Families

Register for the New Student Orientation to launch academic journeys at the College of Social Sciences (CSS). This fun-focused and comprehensive event is specifically designed for incoming freshmen and transfer students, and their families, by providing an introduction to academic units, degree programs, student support services and engagement opportunities.

RSVP is required for attending students. CSS faculty and staff do not need to RSVP.

Please RSVP by Sunday, August 11, to ensure that adequate event resources are secured.

Q: Is it possible to attend the New Student Orientation if the RSVP deadline is missed?
Yes, absolutely. Your attendance is welcome.

Q: May I still attend if the RSVP deadline has passed?
Yes, even if the deadline has passed, please RSVP so the number of attendees can be accurately tallied.

Q. Where is the New Student Orientation being held?

Attendance is not mandatory, but participation is encouraged.

Q. Where is parking for this event?
The UH Mānoa Parking Structure Zone 20 is suggested. (Campus Map). Alternative parking and transportation options are available.

Yes, new students may invite up to 2 guests. Please denote 1 or 2 guests on the RSVP form.

Light refreshments and a selection of cold beverages will be offered.
