Q. RSVP — Do I need to RSVP for the Aloha Celebration?
An RSVP of ‘Yes’ is required if you plan to attend. If you cannot attend, an RSVP of ‘No’ would be greatly appreciated. RSVP today!

Q. LOCATION — Where is the Campus Center Ballroom?
The Campus Center Ballroom is conveniently situated just one floor above the Campus Center Food Court, centrally located within the heart of the UH Mānoa campus. Guests can access the ballroom via stairs or elevator, with restroom facilities conveniently nearby. Look out for prominent signage to guide you effortlessly to the party venue. (Campus Map)

Q. ATTENDANCE — Is the Aloha Celebration a required event?
We understand that this is a busy time for our graduating Class of 2024. While we wholeheartedly welcome your attendance, it is not mandatory. Please join us if you can and stay for as long as your schedule allows. Your presence will be greatly appreciated whenever you’re able to join us.

Q. PARKING — Where should I park for this event?
Guests driving to campus for the Aloha Celebration are advised to park in the Lower Campus Parking Structure (Zone 20). The walk from the Parking Structure to the Campus Center Ballroom is approximately 5-10 minutes. Complimentary all-day parking passes, provided by the College, can be obtained from Monday, May 6, to Friday, May 10, at the ACCESS Lounge in Dean Hall, between 10 am and 3 pm. Graduating students attending the event may pick up a maximum of two passes while supplies last. (Campus Map)

Q. CORDS — I’d like a CSS Graduation Cord, but I cannot attend the event. Can I still get one?
While we highly encourage attendance at the Aloha Celebration, we understand that scheduling conflicts may arise. Therefore, invitees who are unable to attend can pick up their graduation cords from Monday, May 6, to Friday, May 10, at the ACCESS Lounge in Dean Hall, between 10 am and 3 pm. (Campus Map)

Q. GUESTS — Can I bring guests, and if so, how many?
To ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees, students are kindly limited to inviting two guests each, a restriction based on room occupancy regulations. CSS Faculty/Staff are welcome to bring one guest. However, we understand that there may be exceptional circumstances where additional guests are necessary. In such cases, we encourage attendees to reach out to the designated event contact person for further assistance and accommodation.

Q. FOOD/DRINK — What kind of food and drink will be available?
Delight in an array of offerings at our College party, featuring seasonal fruit, assorted vegetables with dip, cheeses, crackers, chicken wings, and sweet treats. Quench your thirst with infused ice water or brewed coffee. Our menu accommodates various dietary preferences, including nut-free, gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options. Please note that the menu is subject to change without notice.

Q. ALCOHOL — Will alcohol be served? Can I bring my own?
In accordance with university policy, alcoholic beverages will not be served at this event. Additionally, attendees are kindly reminded that bringing alcohol to the premises is strictly prohibited. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Q. DRESS — How should I dress for this event?
Smart casual attire is encouraged, reflecting a balance between formal and relaxed. For our Hawaiian setting, think Aloha Attire for inspiration. Let’s dress to impress and enjoy the festivities!
