At the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa campus, Social Sciences in general, and Psychology and Economics in particular, made the 2026 Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject, released on January 21.
Social Sciences ranked in the 251-300 tier, with the Department of Psychology ranked No. 301-400 and the study of Business/Economics coming in at No. 401-500.
UH Mānoa was ranked in all 11 of the 2026 Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject lists.
Times Higher Education considers the following factors for its rankings: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry income and international outlook.
