Welcome to the start of a new academic year at the College of Social Sciences (CSS). To our returning students – you have been missed! Your positive energy throughout an uncertain time has been inspirational. To our students who have just joined the college, welcome to our CSS family! This year the college enters its centennial. Never did we think that we’d enter this milestone year in the midst of a global pandemic. It has defined us and left a mark on our lives that we will carry forever.
Years from now, I will look back on this time and celebrate the care, dedication and resilience that you all – faculty, staff and students – have shown. Our ability to join together to face adversity with tenacity, innovation and positivity is what defines us and makes the College of Social Sciences unique.
