Award-winning research dissertation
Clinical psychology PhD student Samuel Spencer received the 2021-22 Dr. Clifford K. Mirikitani, MD, JD and John M. Mirikitani, JD, PhD Outstanding Dissertation Award on a new, innovative form of psychotherapy for mental health treatment called acceptance and commitment therapy. He is being mentored by Akihiko Masuda in the Clinical Studies Program.
