Short-Term Programs

The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa is a safe, inviting destination for visiting national and international students who want to learn in the classroom and unique natural island environment. Customized short-term programs, varying in length between one to four weeks, provide meaningful educational and cultural experiences. Student engagement is maximized through the thoughtful planning of faculty and partners.

Globalization, the Environment in Hawai‘i, Japanese Immigration in Hawai‘i, and Business Skills Development for Administrative Staff.

Unique Hawai‘i excursions, interaction with UH Mānoa students, English-language programs, Hawaiian activity workshops, lectures, service learning and civic engagement field trips, and visits with distinguished community members.

Most activities are held on the UH Mānoa campus, located in Honolulu on the island of O‘ahu, Hawai‘i, USA. Off-campus excursions are available through arranged transportation modes.

On-campus housing is available at the UH Mānoa campus depending on availability. Some groups enjoy homestay programs in which students live with host families to experience the island lifestyle.
